Finally Takara has released the original Diaclone blue-styled Nissan mold in MP range! The previously released MP-18S Silverstreak was more an homage to the original G1 toy, but this blue version is a true tribute to the original Diaclone colourway,

As always, the MP packaging is nice, simple, and classy. Love the previous style of collector card, and the new collector coin in pretty sweet too.

Together with the other Nissans, I have to say this Diaclone blue is just beautiful!

Together with the other Diaclone repaints, the current molds really are taken to the next level! Love the craziness of the bold colours :)

Up close I'd have to say this one is near perfect in its paint application. Normally MPs have a paint smear somewhere, but this one was surprising free of any defects.

Takara Masterpiece Transformers MP-18S Silverstreak

Well, I couldn't help myself, and ended up getting the Tokyo Toy Show exclusive Masterpiece Transformer MP-18S Silverstreak! So my repaint addiction continues :)

But this is certainly one that I'm glad to have now! The paint app is beautiful, and I actually prefer it to the original cartoon accurate paint app of MP-18 Bluestreak.
