Hot Toys MMS256-D07 Iron Man Mark 3 Diecast 1/6th Scale Figure

Finally got my first, and last, Hot Toys Iron Man figure. And I'm so glad I picked the diecast Mk3 to be that figure! The first Iron Man movie is still my favourite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this figure lives up to that in every single way!

Click through below to see my full review of the figure on the Kool Kollectibles YouTube channel. It's a superb figure overall, and one of my favourites in my entire collection!

You get a decent array of accessories, and I actually do like the swap out torso section that allows some more dynamic poses. Even the batteries were quite easy to install to test out all the light up features.

All in all, I now totally get why so many collectors get hooked on Iron Man. If all the other releases are of the same incredible quality as this diecast Mk3, it's not wonder Hot Toys are making an absolute killing with these!

Sideshow are still shipping out the figure, so click through here to head on over and check it out! :)

Kotobukiya Street Fighter Bishoujo Sakura

I still love Street Fighter, and this Bishoujo line from Kotobukiya really does bring out the best in the female cast. I've loved the previous Chun-Li, Cammy, and Juri statues, and this new Sakura is no different.

Click below to head on over to the Kool Kollectibles channel to watch the full review. Or scroll on down for more pics and info :)

The packaging is the usual Bishoujo style with the front window through to catch a glimpse of the statue, the artwork by the great Shunya Yamashita on the sides, and pics of the statue on the back.

Statue itself is pretty damn awesome, and fits in perfectly with the others. I do worry about the stance though and whether it will lean over time. It does have a very forward sort of balance, but hopefully the material of the statue doesn't deform over time.

Really loving this Street Fighter line, and I hope they really do all the female characters. Poison is up next in December/January, and she looks absolutely gorgeous!

Takara Unite Warriors UW-02 Menasor

Takara released their second set in the Unite Warriors line with UW-02 Menasor. As always, overall the Takara paint app is far better than their Hasbro counterparts. But nothing will save a bad design, and the hips on the combined mode Menasor are still rediculous resulting in a body way out of proportion!

Here's my full review of the set on the Kool Kollectibles YouTube channel. I compare it against each Hasbro figure from my previous reviews, so hope you can check it out :)

The packaging art is great as it was with Superion too. The Stunticons here really do shine most when they are in their individual modes, especially alt modes.

But combined together, the body proportions pretty much ruin everything. I think Superion looks far better in every way!

One way to really enhance the Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors figures is definitely with the Perfect Effect upgrade sets! The hands and feet sets for Superion and Menasor are fantastic!

Here's my video review below with some additional photos too :)

They larger feet that provide more articulation make a world of difference!

Takara Transformers Masterpiece MP-18B Bluestreak

Finally Takara has released the original Diaclone blue-styled Nissan mold in MP range! The previously released MP-18S Silverstreak was more an homage to the original G1 toy, but this blue version is a true tribute to the original Diaclone colourway,

Click the link below to head on over to the Kool Kollectibles website to view the details! For more pics, scroll on down too! :)

As always, the MP packaging is nice, simple, and classy. Love the previous style of collector card, and the new collector coin in pretty sweet too.

Together with the other Nissans, I have to say this Diaclone blue is just beautiful!

Together with the other Diaclone repaints, the current molds really are taken to the next level! Love the craziness of the bold colours :)

Up close I'd have to say this one is near perfect in its paint application. Normally MPs have a paint smear somewhere, but this one was surprising free of any defects.

Some back-catalog Kotobukiya Bishoujo statues

I promised myself to stay away from comic-based Kotobukiya Bishoujo statues. But when I saw the announcement for the Lady Deadpool, I had to have her. And that meant going back to get some other comic statues to display with her!

So I ended up getting the previously released Wonder Woman Armoured version, Black Widow, and Batgirl. I wish I could've gotten Supergirl and Catwoman too, but they go for insane prices on ebay right now.

Here are some pics of the pretty girls below :)

Sideshow Collectibles 1/6th scale Speeder Bike

So the Scout Trooper is definitely not complete without his ride, so here is the recent Sideshow Collectibles Speeder Bike! I was really looking forward to this, but it's not without its faults.

Click through to watch my full video showing the assembly process and where I had trouble with the bike. Note that after I filmed the review I did manage to futz and align things better, such as pushing the handle bars flush so that they sit straighter.

I am a little disappointed in the overall build quality, but on display it's definitely a standout in my collection at the moment, and complements the Scout Trooper perfectly.

Here's a pic of all the contents you get. Assembly pieces are fragile and requires a lot of patience!

Sideshow Collectibles 1/6th scale Scout Trooper

Another classic Star Wars original trilogy trooper finally joined the collection recently with the release of the Sideshow Scout Trooper! And overall it's a pretty damn impressive figure.

Here's the link to my full video review on the trooper. Hope you can check it out! For more pics and descriptions, scroll on down below too! :)

The packaging is the usual black and grey Star Wars styled box with photos of the figure. Nice and simple.

Accessories are decent, especially if you got the exclusive version that includes the long sniper rifle. The trooper really does look a lot better with the longer weapon! Also love the diorama styled base with the logs and rocks. Adds a nice touch to the display.

People have complained that the helmet is too long in the face. But I think it looks fine. The weathering over the armor and pouches is subtle and blends together quite well in hand.

And here is the new Scout Trooper along with his other OT brethren! Love how these troopers look together! Now just waiting on his Speeder Bike next! :)

Transformers Masterpiece MP-21G G2 Bumblebee

Another amazing repaint by Takara on the new Transformers Masterpiece MP-21G G2 Bumblebee. The deep reflective gold paint on this little guy is amazing!!

Packaging and accessories are the usual awesomeness from Takara.

Here it is straight out of the box. Beautiful paint app. But since they've announced MP-21R Red Bumblebee, I think I might display him in bot mode with the battle mask along with G2 Sideswipe.
